A house with six rooms, each carrying the spirit of a city somewhere in the world, for travellers with attitude. In the centre of Cantanhede, twenty minutes from the Bairrada, Portugal's fastest-growing wine region, and the same distance from the vineyards, the Buçaco forest, the beach, Aveiro and Coimbra.

Latitude is a house with attitude. It was created by someone who spent a lifetime travelling and wanted to bring a little of the world to the heart of Portugal. Six rooms, six cities, and the feeling of arriving somewhere with history and character from the very first moment. It isn't a hotel. It's a house thought through to the last detail, where everything is there for a reason.
The rooms
Here, rooms don't have numbers, they have cities. Paris, London, New York, Toronto, Dubai and Tokyo. Each one with its own colours, its own details and the skyline of its city framed above the bed. Choose where you'd like to wake up tomorrow.
See the roomsThe experiences
Your stay can also be a journey through the region. With Vinhalva, our wine-tourism experience, we take you to the Bairrada's wineries and wines aboard a classic car from the 1950s and 60s. There are afternoons of tastings and a toast at sunset, and full days that end with sparkling wine on the beach.
See experiencesThe region
You're in the heart of one of Portugal's most complete regions. The Bairrada is the land of sparkling wine and Baga reds, with the Buçaco forest, thermal spas and Atlantic beaches just minutes away, and Coimbra and Aveiro half an hour from here.

A house with attitude
Latitude is where you are. Attitude is how you travel, with curiosity and a wish to discover. Latitude brings the two together, in a house that takes you to another part of the world without leaving Cantanhede.
Who created Latitude
Latitude was created by Camilo, who spent more than twenty years living and working around the world. He grew up in Paris and went on to London, New York, Toronto, Tokyo and Dubai, before settling in Cantanhede and opening this house. It was that life that shaped Latitude. Each room is born from one of the cities that marked his path.
Six rooms, six cities
As you walk in, there's a wall covered with city names and the line of a plane connecting them, the path Camilo travelled across the world. Six of those cities gave their names to the rooms. Each one has the colour, the details and the skyline of its city, framed above the bed like a picture.
The house
With records going back to 1910, the house was restored slowly and with care, to bring the world to the interior without losing the soul of the place. Along the hallways you'll find objects from a life of travelling, like the old trunk by the entrance.
Rooms
Six rooms, six cities. All double rooms, bright, with wooden floors and white linen, and in each one the skyline of its city framed above the bed. What changes are the colours and the details, depending on the city. (Bathrooms are shared; see FAQ.)
Paris — the red room
The most romantic room in the house. A red headboard, a throw in the same colour, red-and-white checked cushions, and the Eiffel Tower on the Paris skyline above the bed. A room to celebrate in, or simply for those who love Paris the way only Paris is loved.
"Paris is the city of my childhood. I lived there until I was thirteen, and it left me a fondness that never faded." — Camilo
Check availabilityLondon — the blue room
Understated and elegant, with the character of a great capital. A blue headboard, a navy throw, blue-and-white checked cushions, and the London skyline on the wall, with the London Eye and Big Ben.
"London is 'The City', always on the move. And then, in summer, it surprises you with hot days no one saw coming." — Camilo
Check availabilityNew York — black and white, like the city
The most urban room. A grey headboard, black-and-white cushions, and the New York skyline above the bed, with the Statue of Liberty and the skyscrapers. For those who love cities that never stop.
"It was one of the first big cities I got to know when I started travelling. So many people, everything happening at once. The city that never sleeps." — Camilo
Check availabilityToronto — the green room
Calm and orderly, like the city that inspires it. A sage headboard, a teal throw, a cushion with a toucan and leaves, and the Toronto skyline with the CN Tower. The right room to rest in at the end of the day.
"One of my favourite cities. Cosmopolitan, yet everything works and makes sense. I could still see myself living there." — Camilo
Check availabilityDubai — the golden room
Warm and welcoming, in golden tones that echo our brand. A light headboard, a terracotta throw, cushions with the tree of life, and the Dubai skyline with the Burj Khalifa. A room that feels like quiet luxury.
"Dubai is my second home. I watched it grow over twenty-five years. It's proof that evolving is possible." — Camilo
Check availabilityTokyo — the calmest room
Here, less is more. Neutral tones, simple lines and everything in its place, with the Tokyo skyline on the wall. Proof that, in a well-designed space, you lack for nothing.
"Tokyo is technology. It's making a small space work better than a lot of large ones." — Camilo

And on the table, the famous Bairrada-style roast suckling pig, one of the best-known dishes in the country.
